Blackpool Locals Asked for Support
BLACKPOOL, England – As reported by Blackpool Today: "'You have nine days to shape Blackpool's future.'
"That was the rally call today as Blackpool residents were invited to tell the Government why the resort should win the UK's super casino race.
"…The panel which will recommend where the UK's first super casino will be built is to visit Blackpool on Friday September 8 to listen to the views of local people.
"To join that panel, residents were today invited to make a written submission of no more than 1,500 words by Thursday August 10.
"…The panel will then invite a select number of people to speak at the hearing. Others will be invited to be in the audience…"
