Riverside Casino Doors Set to Open
RIVERSIDE, Iowa As reported by the (Iowa) Gazette: "Work on a new casino resort here is 95 percent complete and will be done in time for the grand opening Aug. 31, a casino official said today.
"...After about a year of construction, the casino will open to the general public at 9 p.m. Aug. 31 after a private party to be held earlier in the day for the about 700 investors and others involved in the casino's development.
"...Before the opening, some final touches are necessary. The gaming floor, however, is almost complete, with the nearly 1,200 slot machines ready for customers..."
