CRTC Approves Gambling Channel - Sunday 27th of November 2005

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has given cable and satellite carriers the green light to deliver six new foreign-language channels.

"The Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association says it is pleased at the move to bring more diversity to the TV landscape.

"…The CRTC also announced approval of an application for Gambling TV, a digital-tier channel devoted to programs about gaming and gambling
