Caesars Player Magazine - Tuesday 12th of April 2005
Caesars Entertainment, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Miami Beach-based custom publishing company Onboard Media to publish Caesars Player, a hybrid lifestyle/gaming magazine. The premiere issue is set for release in July 2005.
Caesars Player will celebrate the sophistication, excitement and elegance inherent to the Caesars brand, the most recognized brand in casino gaming. The upscale magazine will cover a broad range of topics, including a monthly celebrity cover story along with regular features on fashion, food and wine, travel, heath and beauty, entertainment, casino gaming and other topics of interest to the discerning tastes of its readers. Caesars Player will be published 3 times annually. It will be distributed in Caesars Entertainment property guest rooms in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and mailed home to 100,000 of its most valued clients.

Future plans for the magazine include subscription offerings and newsstand sales.
In addition to the magazine, Onboard will produce a Web site (www.caesarsplayer.com) and a Caesars Player TV program, which will launch soon after the magazine. The program will be aired exclusively in Caesars Entertainment properties. These initiatives provide both added value for Caesars Entertainment guests and a truly integrated media package for advertisers.
Onboard Media has been a partner of Caesars Entertainment for in-room services since 1994. The introduction of Caesars Player marks the first time in the partnership that both magazine distribution and advertising opportunities are being broadened in scope to a national level. "Our product and advertising base has evolved through the years, and this is a logical next step," according to Mike Kresch, national Advertising Director at Onboard Media.
A summer launch event is being planned and regular events and promotions will be scheduled throughout the year.
