Aristocrat, PokerTek Sign Deal - Wednesday 25th of January 2006

SYDNEY, Australia – Aristocrat Leisure Limited(ASX: ALL) today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement withPokerTek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTEK) of Charlotte, North Carolina to place itsinteractive, electronic PokerPro(TM) table systems in casinos across the globe.

Under the terms of the agreement, Aristocrat will have exclusive rights tooffer PokerTek's PokerPro(TM) tables, and other PokerPro(TM)-branded technologysolutions, to gaming venues across the globe with the exception of most UnitedStates and Canadian gaming jurisdictions, where PokerTek places productdirectly.

"This partnership with PokerTek is part of our strategy to continue ourexpansion into the multi-terminal business following our 50 percent acquisitionof Elektroncek, a Europe-based manufacturer of electro-mechanical multi-terminalproducts," said Paul Oneile, Aristocrat's Chief Executive Officer and ManagingDirector. "The Aristocrat-PokerTek agreement allows us to offer a cutting-edgepoker table system to our customers around the world and capitalize on theincredible popularity of poker."

PokerPro(TM) is a new and innovative electronic poker table created byPokerTek. This superior gaming experience is advantageous to both poker playersand poker room operators. PokerPro(TM) provides operators an opportunity todramatically improve the overall profitability of their poker room.

For players, PokerPro(TM) is rapidly gaining acceptance because it deliversmore hands per hour, eliminates player and dealer mistakes, and removes the needfor dealer tipping. Since launching PokerPro(TM) at its first site in May 2005,the company has already installed 21 tables (210 stations) into six NativeAmerican casinos including two Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino properties inFlorida and four Casinos of the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma.
