Choctaw Casino Durant Implements GSA Protocol - Monday 3rd of April 2006

LAS VEGAS – The crown jewel in the ChoctawNation's collection of casinos, Choctaw Casino Durant, has joined an elitegroup of Class II operators in North America to implement the Gaming StandardAssociation's System-to-System (S2S) protocol. The protocol implementationwent live last week and is interfacing systems from eight different vendors,allowing the casino to provide world-class service in a unified manner.

Choctaw Casino Durant is a Class II casino located 90 minutes North ofDallas/Fort Worth in Durant, Okla., and has more than 800 gaming devices. S2Sis running event filters, voucher class, EGM registration and configuration.

Walt Eisele, VP Advanced Systems Development of Bally Technologies Inc.(NYSE: BYI) and the S2S Committee Chair for GSA, has worked extensively ondeveloping the protocol. He said, "S2S is allowing Choctaw Casino to unifytheir gaming floor in terms of player tracking, TITO, accounting and others.Implementing S2S has solved a major business need for the Tribe."

S2S has brought a tremendous level of convenience to Choctaw's customers,enabling them to use TITO to go from machine to machine, as opposed to machineto cashier. S2S is also enhancing the casino's back-end by providing a moreunified accounting system of machine performance across the overall slotfloor. The protocol also enables truly unified player tracking.

GSA Chairman Lyle Bell and Senior VP of Information Technology for theSeminole Tribe of Florida, where S2S is also running on the gaming floor said,"From GSA's standpoint, we are thrilled that S2S is now successfully beingimplemented on multiple manufacturers systems. That is GSA's goal with each ofour protocols, and we are very gratified to achieve this success."

S2S is a standardized communication protocol that enables casino operatorsto link various casino management systems together, and to easily connect themto hospitality and POS systems. S2S enables systems to share information in amore consistent manner, which allows operators to measure real-time patronactivities across the entire property.
