Bally Technologies Game Approved - Monday 10th of April 2006

LAS VEGAS –- Bally Technologies, Inc.(NYSE: BYI) announced today that its innovative new multi-level progressivevideo slot game, Hot Shot Progressive, has received Nevada, Mississippi,Ontario, Michigan and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) regulatoryapprovals and that contracted advance orders for this premium product havereached an all-time high for the Company's Gaming Operations division.

Bally also announced its advanced S9000 reel-spinning slot machine hasreceived regulatory approval in Nevada, Mississippi, Michigan and by GLI, andthat its new wide-screen CineVision(TM) video cabinet has received regulatoryapproval in Nevada, New Jersey, Mississippi, Michigan, Ontario and by GLI.

S9000 in a five-reel, multi-line, multi-coin configuration andCineVision installations are underway in multiple jurisdictions. More than40 ALPHA OS(TM) video titles are approved in various jurisdictions forCineVision.

Hot Shot Progressive initially went live at Greektown Casino in Detroitprior to the end of 2005 and now has gone live at a variety of casinos in LasVegas, California, New York and Connecticut.
