RHODE ISLAND – As reported by the Providence Journal: "Donald Trump is selling his message that an open competitive process to select a private casino in Rhode Island is the way to go.
"In what he's calling 'an open letter to the citizens of Rhode Island,' Trump writes in a full-page ad in the Journal today that he hopes to visit Rhode Island soon 'to discuss building a special project together.'
"However, a spokesman for Trump has told the Journal that the Donald has no immediate plans to visit the state…"
