Harrah's Entertainment Bets on College Graduates - Wednesday 3rd of May 2006

SAN FRANCISCO, California AfterCollege, Inc., the nation's largest career network specializing in recruitment at the college level, has signed Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:HET), the world's premier provider of branded casino entertainment, as one of the newest members of its employer network. AfterCollege will help Harrah's to efficiently and effectively recruit top college graduates this spring for open positions across Harrah's including the company's finance, hospitality and marketing departments.

Founded in 1937, Las Vegas-based Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. owns or manages, through various subsidiaries, more than 40 casinos in three countries, primarily under the Harrah's, Caesars and Horseshoe brand names.

"Harrah's chose AfterCollege because of their unique ability to target specific academic departments and student groups within certain universities, through AfterCollege's network of co-branded academic recruitment sites," said Susan Hailey, Vice President of Talent Management for Harrah's Entertainment. "AfterCollege's department-level approach will create a targeted pool of highly-qualified candidates for our graduate-level positions this graduating season."

AfterCollege has developed exclusive partnerships with more than 1,300 academic departments and student groups and has a proprietary database of more than 15,000 faculty and student group contacts at the nation's top universities. AfterCollege powers the job sites of many academic departments and student groups at universities, producing highly targeted results for employers and helping them lower their cost per hire by up to 80 percent. Employers can target not only by university, but also by discipline and group affiliation.

"We are so happy to have the world's largest gaming company in our network of employers," said Roberto Angulo, CEO of AfterCollege, Inc. "The current crop of qualified candidates will no doubt be excited to contribute to Harrah's, an organization known for providing top caliber entertainment in a dynamic industry."
