Lotto to Launch Huge Promotion with $112M Unclaimed Jackpot - Saturday 20th of May 2006
Guyana – As reported by Stabroek News (Guyana): "The time to claim $112,640,940, the largest jackpot prize of the Guyana Lottery Company, has run out and the company disclosed yesterday how the money would be utilised.
"General Manager, Tracy Lewis, told reporters…that a countrywide "fantastic promotion" will be launched in June.
"The promotion will have 108 prizes, Lewis said, ranging from $10,000 to $10M…
"… the company will "bump up" the start-off money of the next jackpot from its usual $4M to $10M…
"The $112M ticket was bought on January 21, 2006, at Benie Sukra, a lottery agent in New Amsterdam…"
