Casino Issue Dominates Lima, Ohio Council Meeting - Wednesday 7th of June 2006
LIMA, Ohio As reported by the Lima News: "Talk of a potential Lima casino will likely dominate Monday's Lima City Council meeting once again.
"This time, no less than four people have asked to address the council about a memorandum of understanding it is considering with the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. Perry Schools superintendent Mike Lamb and Allen County Sheriff Dan Beck join Bruce Opperman and James Haidel on the agenda.
"They will all get the chance to speak before the council votes a second time on the memo, which would serve as a set of guidelines for more formal discussions with the tribe…"
