PGI System Receives Initial Approval in New Jersey - Tuesday 20th of June 2006

LAS VEGAS, Nevada Progressive Gaming International Corporation (NASDAQ:PGIC) a leading provider of diversified products and services used in the gaming industry worldwide announced today that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement's Technical Services Bureau has approved the use of CasinoLink Jackpot System ("CJS") in New Jersey and has reported its findings to the Casino Control Commission for final agency action.

Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Robert Parente stated "CJS allows us to fulfill the market demands for a multi-site progressive and mystery bonusing system. We expect to install CJS with major casino operators representing approximately 500 units in the immediate short term and have an opportunity to install over 5,000 units in the next 12 to 18 months. We have already received significant commercial interest from the industry's largest casino operators."

Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Thomas Galanty stated "this is a major milestone for our server based gaming products. We believe casino operators will benefit from implementing CJS through incremental revenue growth opportunities from our unique features offering self-managed progressive jackpots and mystery awards. We are very excited about the opportunities to deploy CJS into the Atlantic City gaming market as well as other key gaming jurisdictions. We continue to invest significant development and marketing efforts into this very important and strategic initiative and expect to continue to achieve major milestones throughout 2006, 2007 and beyond."
