That includes four ticketsthat came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Now the jackpotfor the Friday, July 14, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimatedannuity value of $40 million.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 5-14-34-36-52 and the MegaBall number was 42.
Those four tickets that each matched the first five numbers and onlymissed the Mega Ball number were purchased in California, Georgia, Michiganand New York.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois,Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas,Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PMEastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
