Trump Plaza Names New VP - Tuesday 25th of July 2006
ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – Trump EntertainmentResorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Mark Sachais as VicePresident of Marketing for Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City,New Jersey ("Trump Plaza").
Mr. Sachais has worked in positions of progressive responsibilityduring nearly twenty years of experience in the gaming industry. Mostrecently, he served as Vice President of Finance for Harrah's Atlantic Cityand Showboat Casino. Prior to working for Harrah's and Showboat, Mr.Sachais worked for 17 years at Caesars Atlantic City, ultimately assumingthe position of Vice President of Finance. At Caesars, Mr. Sachais led thefinancial planning and analysis team, and was a key player in the casino'sstrategic marketing plans.
"Mark's experience and knowledge of finance and marketing makes him agreat addition to our executive team at the Plaza," said Mark Juliano,Chief Operating Officer of Trump Entertainment Resorts. "I have known MarkSachais for nearly twenty years and have found myself continually impressedby his ability to strategically plan and execute programs that add valuefor the customers and the organization."
Mr. Sachais holds both bachelors and masters degrees in finance and isa New Jersey certified public accountant. He is currently the President ofthe Board of the United Way of Atlantic County, and has been honored as theorganization's volunteer of the year. He has also been cited with acommunity service award from the Greater Atlantic City Jaycees.
"At Trump Plaza, we have completed the renovations of our casino floorand nearly all of our hotel rooms, and I believe that Mark is exactly theright person to lead the effort to market our new and improved product,"said Jim Rigot, General Manager of Trump Plaza. "Mark's background in andunderstanding of the industry makes for a great addition to our team as weaim to provide increasingly entertaining experiences for customers."
Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino is located at the center of the Boardwalkat the end of the Atlantic City Expressway, with direct access to BoardwalkHall. Featuring over 900 hotel rooms, more than 96,000 square feet ofcasino space, approximately 2,300 slot machines and more than 90 tablegames, the facility is also home to more than 28,000 square feet ofconference space, a summer beach bar and numerous cocktail lounges andrestaurants.
