Gambling study expected soon - Wednesday 30th of April 2008

A study on the social and economic impact of gambling in Tasmania is expected to be handed to the Government at the end of the month.

The Treasurer, Michael Aird, says the study is going through an independent peer review.

Mr Aird says the review is an important part of the process and must be done before the report is finalised by the South Australian Centre for Economic Studies.
