Casino Workers Donate

DEADWOOD, South Dakota As reported by the Rapid City Journal: "Employees of the Silverado Gaming Establishment in Deadwood made their second annual Project Christmas donation this week, to a New Underwood woman whose mobile home was destroyed by high winds in early December.

"Cindy Hauge, marketing director for the Silverado, presented a check for $1,200 to Hallie Evans and her 22-month-old son Lane.

"...Silverado employees created Project Christmas a year ago when the staff learned of a local woman who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, a news release from the Silverado said..."
