Plans for £35m casino go on show
Great Yarmouth was one of eight places in England and Wales to be granted permission by the government in 2007 to build a large casino.
Pleasure and Leisure Corp - which owns the towns Pleasure Beach - said the development called The Edge, could give jobs to 1,000 people.
A borough council study is being held to find the best site for the casino.
Rival casino operators have expressed interest in running a casino in the town and competition to build the venue is expected to be stiff.
Pleasure and Leisures plans would see a derelict former caravan holiday park south of the Pleasure Beach completely redeveloped.
