Global Interactive Signs with Ladbrokes
WEST PATERSON, New Jersey – Interactive SystemsWorldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: ISWI) announced today that its wholly-ownedsubsidiary, Global Interactive Gaming Limited ("GIG"), signed an agreementwith Ladbrokes eGaming Ltd. ("Ladbrokes"). Ladbrokes eGaming is a part ofLadbrokes plc. GIG will provide software and services to allow Ladbrokes tooffer integrated play-by-play betting throughout the course of a sportingevent. The betting markets will be offered initially on the Internet, withdeployment across mobile phone and interactive television being evaluated.This is anon-exclusive agreement, which will provide GIG with a share of the wageringrevenue. The markets will be offered in multiple languages, and wagers willbe accepted in multiple currencies.
GIG utilizes the SportXction(R) System, developed by ISWI, to manageprimarily short-term, play-by-play oriented, betting opportunities("propositions" or "markets") during a live sporting event.
The agreement is for an initial 18-month term from launch and covers mostof the sports GIG currently has available, including football, cricket, golf,tennis, rugby, basketball, American football, snooker and darts.
