Stanley Leisure Opening Nottingham Casino
LONDON – As reported by Reuters: "The country's biggest casino operator Stanley Leisure said on Friday it had been granted a licence for a 30,000 square foot casino in the centre of Nottingham, central England.
"Stanley said it expected to open the casino towards the end of 2006 at a refit cost of 7 million pounds (US$12.5 million).
"The group is spending 100 million pounds to upgrade its casino estate to take advantage of changes to Britain's 40-year-old gambling laws…"
