The jackpot for the Saturday, July 22nd drawing will be $116 millionwith the cash option at $52.9 million.
The numbers drawn Wednesday evening were 2, 32, 38, 44, 50, and thePowerball was 21. The Power Play multiplier was 4.
Forty-three tickets matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won$10,000. Ten additional players of that prize level wisely purchased thePower Play and had their prize multiplied by 4 for a $40,000 cash win! Atotal of 617,961 players across the nation won more than $7.1 million inprizes playing America's favorite game.
More than 105,000 winning Powerball players multiplied their prize by 4Wednesday. They were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play optionfor $1. With Power Play you multiply your Powerball winnings from 2-5times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel isspun to select that night's multiplier.
