Mega Millions Jackpot Grows
UNITED STATES – July is heating up and so isMega Millions. Friday's Mega Millions drawing produced more than 345,000winning tickets from coast to coast. That includes five tickets that camewithin a heartbeat of hitting the jackpot. Since no ticket matched all sixnumbers to win the $12 million jackpot, the jackpot for the Tuesday, July25, 2006 drawing grows to an estimated $15 million.
The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 18-26-35-36-43 and the MegaBall number was 24.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois,Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas,Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PMEastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
