Meskwaki Tribe to Celebrate $110 Million Casino Expansion
IOWA – As reported by the Iowa Times-Republican: "Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel officials will finally be able to show off their new facilities during Friday's grand opening ceremony.
"After more than a year of construction, the $110 million project has finally come to fruition.
"'The grand opening is an opportunity to for us to introduce the project to the public,' said Dan Stromer, general manager of Meskwaki. 'There have been lots of questions and anticipation and we're finally able to open the doors and welcome people in.'
"During the grand opening ceremony guests will have the chance to view the updates which include new hotel rooms, a spa and exercise room, additional gaming space and a new entertainment facility.
"…The grand opening celebration will begin with a 9:30 a.m. ceremony and will be followed by a tribal dance and a message from Meskwaki tribal council representatives. A ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. will signal the opening of the casino to the public…"
