Mega Millions Jackpot Rises
UNITED STATES – Even though there was no jackpotwinner in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, a lot of players still walkedaway winners. With nine different ways to win, a total of 344,149 ticketswon prizes in the July 25 drawing. That includes two tickets that each won$250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to take home the jackpot,that jackpot grows to an estimated $23 million for the Friday, July 28,2006 drawing.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 7-21-24-41-51 and theMega Ball number was 10.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois,Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas,Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PMEastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
