Bulgarian Seaside Expects Russian Tourist Wave after Gambling Ban
A wave of Russian tourists is expected at the casinos and other gambling sites at the Bulgarian Seaside after a ban on gambling in Russia comes into force July 1st, onlinecasinoadvisory.com reports Monday.
Over 550 gambling halls in Russia, 30 of whom are casinos, will close doors in ten days. This is expected to break out a wave of hardcore gamblers travelling to nearby countries where there’s no ban.
The Russian authorities later plan to reopen casinos only in four gambling zones. According to an expert cited in the article, they might reverse their decision once they see large-scale gambling revenue leave the country.
