Isle of Capri Casinos Names New Exec
BILOXI, Mississippi – Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) officials announced today the appointment of Kim Hardy as vice president and general manager of the company's Waterloo, Iowa property expected to open in Spring 2007.
Hardy brings extensive casino management experience to the role having held similar positions at Isle of Capri Casinos in Boonville, Mo. and Marquette, Iowa. He has been with the Isle since the company acquired the Marquette casino in May 2000. Hardy also served as general manager of the Miss Marquette Riverboat Casino beginning in 1998.
Prior to joining the Isle, Hardy held executive positions with the Reno Hilton and Hilton Casino in New Orleans. Hardy's educational background is in criminal justice.
Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc., a leading developer and owner of gaming and entertainment facilities, operates 15 casinos in 13 locations. The company owns and operates riverboat and dockside casinos in Biloxi, Vicksburg, Lula and Natchez, Mississippi; Bossier City and Lake Charles (2 riverboats), Louisiana; Bettendorf, Davenport and Marquette, Iowa; and Kansas City and Boonville, Missouri. The company also owns a 57 percent interest in and operates land-based casinos in Black Hawk (two casinos), Colorado.
