Mega Million Jackpot Reaches $117 Million

In Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, atotal of 680,260 tickets from coast to coast won prizes, including fourtickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Since noticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the jackpot grows to anestimated $117 million for the Friday, March 31, 2006 drawing.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 14-18-35-39-49 and the MegaBall number was 14.
Four tickets matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ballnumber. Those tickets were purchased in California, New Jersey, and New York(2).
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois,Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginiaand Washington.
