Request for Proposals for the Integrated Resorts
The development of Integrated Resorts (IRs) is an important project that is expected to generate significant economic benefits to Singapore. The Singapore Tourism Board, together with the relevant government agencies, are working on the feedback from the Proposers. As several of these are complex, the agencies need more time to adequately address the concerns raised. In view of this, the Bayfront Request for Proposal (RFP) will be launched by end November 2005. With this, the RFP for Sentosa is targeted to be launched in the first quarter of 2006. The timing of the two RFPs has been staggered to give Proposers who are unsuccessful in the Bayfront RFP the opportunity to participate in the Sentosa RFP.
